Carrot and Poppy Seed Salad with Rye Bread

carrot
juice of 1/2 lemon

poppy seeds
Freshly ground black pepper
to taste

of rye bread

spreadable cheese
Instructions
Trim, peel, and grate carrot into a small bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix.
Spread a layer of cheese on each slice of bread and top with the carrot salad.
