Strawberry Balsamic Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 cup diced strawberries
  • 1 Tbs balsamic vinegar preferably white
  • 1 Tbs granulated sugar
  • 1 batch triple vanilla custard ready to churn (see note)

Instructions

  • Combine strawberries, vinegar, and sugar in a small bowl. Stir to coat. Let stand at least 30 minutes.
  • Churn ice cream according to the manufacturer's directions. Add strawberry mixture during the last five minutes of churning.
  • Pack into an airtight container and freeze.
