Quick-Pickled Shiitakes

medium dried shiitake mushrooms
rinsed

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a small heatproof bowl. Cover and let stand for 4 to 6 hours.
Remove mushrooms and use as fresh mushrooms.
If desired, strain broth for another use.
