India Pale Ale Mustard

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup brown mustard seeds
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard seeds
  • 3/4 cup of your favorite India Pale Ale
  • 1 Tbs kosher salt
  • 1 Tbs sugar
  • 1 Tbs mustard powder
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbs finely minced onion
  • 1/2 cup white wine vinegar

Instructions

  • Place mustard seeds in a clean pint jar. Add ale. Cover and let stand 12 to 24 hours.
  • Add remaining ingredients and stir to dissolve sugar and salt. Cover and refrigerate 30 days.
  • Place in food processor or blender and grind to desired smoothness.
