Pesto Rustico

Ingredients

basil leaves
packed
1-2
garlic cloves
minced
1/4
cup
grated Parmesan cheese
(or Grana Pardano)
1/4
cup
walnuts
toasted
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Using a large chef's knife, chop garlic and basil together.
Add walnuts, and continue chopping until finely minced.
Transfer to bowl, add cheese and olive oil, and use a spoon to combine into a paste.
Taste. Add salt and pepper as needed.
