Using whisk attachment on a stand mixer, whip heavy cream and 1/4 cup powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Transfer to bowl and refrigerate.

Place remaining ingredients in same bowl (no need to clean) and beat on high with paddle attachment until well-mixed and light, about 4 minutes.

Fold whipped cream into cream cheese frosting in three additions.
