Do you make pizza at home? We do, and quite regularly, too, so we’re always looking for ways to make a better-tasting pizza — not that our pizza tastes bad, by any means, it’s that, sometimes, just a little tweak makes a difference. That’s what we have today, just a little tweak to make your pizza taste even better, and it’ll only take you an extra minute. Don’t believe us? Well….
This is about as easy as it gets. After grating or chopping (we prefer larger bits) your cheese, simply sprinkle it with some herbs, such as oregano, basil, and black pepper, and give it a toss to coat. Then go along and make your pizza just as you’ve done in the past. See, less than one minute, and you now have a nice herbed cheese to pop on top. We wish we’d thought this up, but, really, we found the idea in Peter Reinhart’s book, The Bread Baker’s Apprentice.
